My best friend and brother was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma when I was in the 8th grade. As can be imagined, I did not understand and could thoroughly process what exactly what happening at that time. Because of this, I became in denial in thinking that nothing ever could happen to him and my statement discussed how I coped with my anger inside and how it changed me as a person and my outlook on life
