Unfortunately I lost the essay at some point, but I explained my experience doing martial arts since I was four years old. I was often the only girl in the class, and that became more and more true as I got older. I talked about different challenges I overcame from small but scary ones, such as learning to do a cartwheel when I was four or five, to greater accomplishments like earning my second degree blackbelt before finishing high school....
