I wrote my personal statement about a summer exchange program that I did while in high school. I explained how the experience affected me and how it sparked my interest in international travel and cultures. NYU was the perfect school for me to explore this passion due to its focus on being a university that is "in and of the city and in and of the world".

Its hard to make these essays unique, I would recommend looking at the schools website or mentioning something that happened while you were visiting the school to make it more personal and not so generic.

NYU asks creative questions in their supplemental essays, so its important to use these essays to show who you are as a person while also showing how you are a great student.
